In late 2021, our company had the privilege of supplying 4,859 modules of our state-of-the-art Flo-Vault® system for a critical infrastructure
project in Taylors Beach, NSW. This project, commissioned by Daracon Group, involved the construction of an underground infiltration tank designed to manage stormwater runoff and support sustainable water management practices in the area.

Project Background
Taylors Beach, located in the coastal region of New South Wales, experiences significant rainfall, necessitating efficient stormwater management solutions to prevent flooding and ensure groundwater recharge. Daracon Group, a leading civil construction company, undertook this project to develop an advanced underground infiltration system capable of handling large volumes of stormwater.

Objectives

– Efficient Stormwater Management: To create a system that effectively captures and infiltrates stormwater, reducing surface runoff and mitigating flood risks.

– Sustainability: To enhance groundwater recharge and promote sustainable water use practices.

– Space Optimization: To design a solution that maximizes land use by placing the infiltration system underground, allowing the surface area
to be utilized for other purposes.

Solution:

Flo-Vault Modules Our Flo-Vault® system was chosen for this project due to its superior design and performance in stormwater management. Key features of the Flo-Vault® modules include:- High Storage Capacity: Each module is designed to store a significant volume of water, making it ideal for large-scale projects.

– Structural Integrity: The modules are engineered to withstand substantial loads, ensuring durability and long term reliability.

– Easy Installation: The modular design allows for quick and efficient installation, reducing construction time and costs.
