Four Decades of Innovation in Water & Landscape Infrastructure
Founded in Australia in 1986, Atlantis has spent four decades developing systems that have transformed the way water, drainage and landscape infrastructure are integrated within the built environment.

Be the change, be Atlantis
Where It All Began
Atlantis was founded in Australia in 1986 by landscape architect Humberto Urriola, with a vision to rethink the relationship between water, landscape and the built environment.
That vision led to the development and patenting of the original Atlantis Drainage Cell in 1986 — a lightweight modular solution that established the foundation for what Atlantis would become.
From that first innovation, Atlantis continued to develop systems addressing drainage, stormwater management and the integration of landscape within increasingly complex urban environments. Four decades later, that same focus on practical innovation continues to shape the way Atlantis develops solutions for the built environment worldwide.
40 Years of Innovation
From the original Drainage Cell to an evolving portfolio of stormwater and green infrastructure systems

From an Idea to a Global System of Solutions
What began with the original Atlantis Drainage Cell has evolved into a portfolio of systems addressing stormwater management, drainage and green infrastructure across the built environment. Today, Atlantis solutions are used across civil, architectural and landscape applications in markets around the world.
Water Management
Detention, infiltration, rainwater harvesting and subsurface drainage.
Landscape Infrastructure
Soil cells, green roofs, vertical gardens and structural landscape systems.
Permeable Environments
Systems that integrate drainage, infiltration and trafficable landscape surfaces.
